Run for the Ridge 5k

We were so grateful to be able to serve in the first annual Run for the Ride 5k! You would have never known it was the rookie year of this event, with nearly 200 runners and a 70 volunteers. The race was sponsored by Peine Ridge Church for the benefit of "The Friends of Wentzville Parks" and the special education department of Peine Ridge Elementary School. If you are interested in learning more about the vision for Run for the Ride, check out their website! Baby Bump!

Today marks week 26 and I am already getting anxious to meet baby Blake! Over the past couple days, Scott and I began to put the nursery together and found some time to take a few pictures of my growing belly! Of course, Tank made it into a few of the pictures :)

A Wedding With Culture

I was privileged to shoot a wedding earlier this month at the Randall Art Gallery in St. Louis! The grooms family traveled all the way from Nigeria Africa to attend the ceremony. One family member, Janet, and I quickly became friends when she congratulated me on my pregnancy and showered me with kisses because she was so happy for me. She was such a sweet lady and I really wanted to steal some of her fashion sense! We took this quick picture together at the end of the evening :) More of this wedding coming soon...

A Family Affair

One of the most important things to us as photographers is making people feel important. I love when a bride feels like she is the queen of her big day! So when Scott's sister chose this December for her wedding, we made the decision to close our calendar and celebrate with Leslie her "Scott" (yeah, that's gonna be confusing for a while).

My Scott & I were both in the wedding, but we did manage to grab some shots as everyone enjoyed the day. Leslie was an absolutely gorgeous bride!

My mother-in-law designed the reception and made a lot of the decor including the napkins, wedding favor boxes and table center pieces. She did a great job!

Bridal Show

Today was so exciting...Scott, Megan and I had the chance to display our work and meet many brides at the "St. Louis Best Bridal" show. Thank you so much to everyone who came out and visited out booth. We enjoyed meeting each one of you and wish you all luck with your wedding plans!

Exciting Changes

Many exciting changes have come with this summer season as Fresh Photo is currently undergoing our own little in-house makeover. We have begun work on a brand new website which should debut sometime next month as well as added a new photographer to our wedding team! The most recent news was an addition to our product line...We are proud to now offer KISS wedding albums!

The newest member of the Fresh Photo wedding team is Meg! She is a talented and fun photographers who has already produced some amazing work. Here is one of my favorite images she took this past weekend at the Vala-Fuhrmann wedding.
